Chapter One – The Council
In this study, we look at what the bible has to say about the council, and the role that they play in the affair of man, in particular, and the planet. in general.
“Orion, the planet where the gods come from!”
That’s the message Ben heard while driving one day. It was a message from his inner voice that sounded almost audible.
“What!” He exclaimed. This was indeed alien to Ben. He was a Christian. Though, he recently embarked on a journey that resulted in him doing a spiritual 180. As far as Ben was aware God, not the Gods, came from heaven not some planet in our constellation.
Unperturbed by his skepticism and absolute shock the voice repeated,
“Orion the planet where the gods come from.“
Someone/ones were obviously trying to get a message to him. Or maybe, it was just his mind playing tricks on him. Ben wrestled with this new ‘information’ for quite some time. Of course, he could not share it with anyone lest they think he had lost his mind.
The Search For Orion Begins
He then began his frantic search, in an attempt to discover if the information provided could be verified. For a long time, there was nothing.
Eventually, he uncovers some information, but nothing that remotely resembled any evidence that God or Gods, anyone or anything came from another planet to earth.
After many months of intense searching, he encountered what appeared to be some evidence of alien visitors. But they are from Orion’s sister Sirius, not Orion.

The Dogons of Marli, West Africa
Meet The Dogons
The Dogon’s of Mali, West Africa have an interesting story. They claim to be the priests of Ancient Egypt (the keepers of the secrets/mysteries). They left Egypt, situated in the North of Africa when the invasion of Africa began, and migrated to Mali.
Long before the recent development of a telescope powerful enough to view it, the Dogons spoke about the star Sirius B, which they claim orbits Sirius A. They drew detailed maps and possessed other information which it would have been impossible for them to possess otherwise. This they did for over a thousand plus years. Scientists rubbished it. Why? They could not see it. Eventually, scientist were able to confirm what the Dogons were saying all along
How did they get this information? Well, the Dogons claim that an amphibious race of people called the Nommos came to earth and shared that information with them.
Evidence In The Bible
Ben, now that there was perhaps some evidence of alien contact, began to search the bible. In the first chapter of the book of Genesis he discovers that God (Elohim) said: “let us make man in our own image”.
Elohim – the Hebrew word translated God, is a plural noun. Now Ben knew that in Hebrew (the language the ancient text was written in) the suffix ‘im’ means more than one, many.
In addition, he mused, God said ‘let us’, not let me. Also, he spoke about ‘man’ being made in ‘our image‘, not his. Was he speaking to angels? No. Ben was fully aware that nowhere in the bible are angels ever described as being in ‘the image of God’. So he was speaking to the Elohim.
The Sons of The Council
Ben also became aware of a strange passage in Genesis 6:
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Here he notices that in the five (5) times¹ the Old Testament uses the phrase ‘sons of God‘, it employs the Hebrew word Elohim. So the text actually says, ‘sons of Elohim’ or ‘sons of the Elohim’. In English that would be, ‘Sons of The Council’. The same word is used in the Genesis creation narrative. So he began to ask the following questions:
- Who are the Elohim (The Council)?
- Are they aliens who procreated with humans, thereby creating these giants?
- Where did they come from?
The Function of The Council
The book of Deuteronomy says in chapter 32:
8When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He divided the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God². 9 But the LORD’s portion is His people, Jacob His allotted inheritance
(Berean Bible)
The Sons of The Council, from the scriptural evidence, is a body tasked with the responsibility of governing the planet. Each one of the Elohi has been been given a particular territory to govern or oversee. In Daniel chapter 9, Daniel speaks about the ‘Prince of Persia’. Apparently this Elohi is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing the territorial boundaries of Persia.
The division of territories would be based, according to Deuteronomy, on the number of the Elohim.
The Elohim are Admonished To Govern Justly
Again in Psalms 82, we read:
God (אֱלֹהִים’ĕlôhı̂ym) standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods (אֱלֹהִים’ĕlôhı̂ym). 2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
6 I have said, Ye are gods (אֱלֹהִים’ĕlôhı̂ym); and all of you are children of the most High (אֱלֹהִים’ĕlôhı̂ym).7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God (אֱלֹהִים’ĕlôhı̂ym), judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
Here we see the Elohims are being admonished to govern justly and not unjustly because they have been given the earth as their inheritance.
Regular Meetings Of The Council
In Job 1:6; 2:1 We Are informed that this governing body meets on a regular basis, to not only give an account of their stewardship over the affairs of men but also to devise governance strategies.
Scripture does not inform us about the number of entities that comprise this counsel. However, what we know for sure is the identity of two of those beings. Satan is one of them and Yahovah the other. While Satan seems to be a free agent, having been given no specific jurisdiction, Yehovah on the other hand has his boundaries defined, Deuteronomy 32:9.
The Nephilim
The Hebrew word for the ‘giants’, the offspring of the ‘sons of The Council’ and the daughters of men, is Nephilim. Now, Ben is stunned when he comes upon Numbers 13:33. Why? Because according to Genesis, only Noah and his family survived the flood. Yet, the same giants who were there before the flood, are once again present when Moses sends the spies to spy out the land of Canaan. It reads:
And there we saw the giants (Nephilim), the sons of Anak, which come of the giants (Nephilim): and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
- Could this be the missing link that Ben is searching for?
- How could the Nephilim survive the flood when they were not in the ark?
- Is it possible that the Elohim are from the constellation of Orion – the ‘planet’ where the gods come from?
For Ben, the search continues. In fact, it has only just begun.
